Hi, I’m Erin Winters for The SAS Academy for Data Science. Welcome to the Advanced Predictive Modeling learning module. We’re in an unprecedented time in history because of both the amount of data we can access and the monumental improvements that have been made to the algorithms we use to analyze the data. 

Consider this – we are only a few years away from self-driving cars. Today’s most advanced algorithms adapt to the environment. Much of what you learn here will give you the skills to participate in the evolution of synergy between humans and machines because you’ll learn the algorithms and tools needed to apply those algorithms to big data. 

In this module you’ll learn how to: Deal with standard and advanced algorithms for machine learning, use SAS on open source models, and apply data mining techniques on big data. The courses in this module prepare you to take the second of three exams that are required to earn the SAS Certified Advanced Analytics Using SAS 9 credential.
